Return & Exchange Policy

At North Bay Games and Hobbies, we want you to be excited about your next hobby project or game night. If a product doesn't meet your needs, our return policy is outlined below.

1. 30-Day Return Period

Items purchased at North Bay Games and Hobbies (in-store or online at nbgamesandhobbies.ca) may be returned for a refund or exchange within 30 days of the original purchase date.

2. Condition of Item

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

• Unopened and Unused: The product must be in its original, sealed packaging (including shrink-wrap or intact security seals).
• Original Condition: The packaging must be free of damage, markings, or wear.
• Complete: All components, manuals, and accessories must be included inside the sealed box.

3. Proof of Purchase

A valid original receipt or order confirmation email is strictly required for all returns and exchanges. If you have a customer account with us, we may be able to look up your transaction history, but the physical or digital receipt remains the primary requirement.

4. Non-Returnable Items

To maintain the integrity of our TCG (Trading Card Game) secondary market and for health/safety reasons, the following items are Final Sale and cannot be returned:

• Individual Trading Cards (Singles).
• Opened TCG Booster Packs, Bundles, or Boxes.
• Used or opened Paints, Glues, or Tools.
• Event Tickets or Entry Fees.
• Gift Cards.

5. Refund Method

• Original Payment: Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment (e.g., the specific credit or debit card used).
• Cash Returns: Cash refunds exceeding $20.00 may be issued via store credit
• Loyalty Points: Any loyalty points earned on the original purchase will be deducted from your account upon the return of the item.

6. Defective Products

If you open a game or model kit and find that components are missing or defective from the manufacturer, please contact us immediately. In many cases, hobby manufacturers (such as Games Workshop or major board game publishers) prefer to handle replacement parts directly with the consumer, but we are happy to provide you with the necessary contact information or assist where possible.

7. How to Initiate a Return

• In-Store: Bring the item and your receipt to our location at 179 Main Street W, North Bay.
• Online: For items shipped to you, please email info@nbgamesandhobbies.ca with your order number to receive return authorization. Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the error was on our part.
